Interstate 25 will be closed between U.S. 24/Cimarron Street and South Nevada Avenue next weekend as crews continue work on the highway interchange project there. Both directions of I-25 will be closed, starting at 11 p.m. Nov. 14 and continuing until 6 a.m. Nov. 15, to allow Colorado Springs Utilities to relocate overhead power lines, according to a new release from the Colorado Department of Transportation. Some lane closures will begin at 9 p.m., according to CDOT. Detour signs will be posted and drivers are encouraged to use the Nevada and Cimarron exits to navigate around the closure, the release said. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette ......
