A low-pressure storm system moving across the state could bring light snow to Colorado Springs through Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo. Areas further north, including Black Forest and Monument, could receive up to an inch of snow, said meteorologist Mike Nosko. The snowfall is expected between 6 p.m. and midnight Friday, he added. A cold front will move through eastern Colorado in the afternoon, the weather service reports, bringing gusty winds over the mountains before weather conditions calm down in the afternoon.
