Hunt Elementary School in southeast Colorado Springs was on a short lockdown Thursday morning after two shots reportedly were fired in the area, according to police and school officials. A shots fired call came just after 10 a.m., police said. The school went on "precautionary lockdown" because of suspicious activity in the area, according to a District 11 tweet.
