The next snowflakes in Colorado Springs could come with a serving of turkey, forecasters say. Calm weather is expected to prevail until Thanksgiving after a week of storms in Colorado Springs. A fast-moving storm passed through Colorado Friday and brought gusty winds to Colorado Springs and dropped flakes in the high country of the Pikes Peak region. The storm tangled traffic to ski resorts and closed Interstate 70 for several hours before blowing out of the state before midnight.
